What is a Scale Turntable Pallet Stretch Wrapping Machine & What Does It Do?
Turntable stretch wrapping machines wrap by rotating the pallet on a fixed turntable. In scale models, there is a precision scale (weight measuring device) on the pallet turntable. This way, the weight of the load can be automatically measured and checked before or after wrapping. At the same time, the turntable rotates to provide even tension distribution; this optimizes film consumption.
Working Principle of Scale Turntable Pallet Stretch Wrapping Machine
Before starting the pallet stretch film wrapping process, the operator places the pallet on the scale. When the turntable starts to rotate, the load, which remains locked on it, is wrapped by the stretching unit above. The wrapping ratio (film stretch percentage) is adjustable. As a result, it works seamlessly with films having different stretch ratios. The built-in scale provides data for legal load control or process tracking.
