What is a Horizontal Stretch Wrapping Machine & What Does It Do?

The horizontal stretch machine wraps long and narrow products such as pipes, profiles, marble and doors on the horizontal axis. Products are placed horizontally into the machine and film is applied around them. This system offers practical packaging for mold parts or long boxed products.

Horizontal Stretch Wrapping Machine Working Principle

The product is fed horizontally onto the machine table by the operator or conveyor. As the table rotates, film is wrapped around the product. Thanks to the film's pre-stretching system, the film is applied at the desired tension on each rotation. When wrapping is complete, the machine cuts and seals the film. The ergonomic design makes positioning the product easier.

It prevents long products from breaking or scratching during transport. Every length of packaging is completed at the same tension. Thanks to horizontal wrapping, transport safety increases.
